The Pharmacy First Service (available since Jan 2024) enables pharmacists to complete episodes of care for patients without the need for the patient to visit their GP.
Alongside expansions to other pharmacy services, this initiative is hoped to save up to 10 million GP appointments a year and help patients access quicker, more convenient care (including the supply of appropriate medicines).
The following 7 conditions do not require you to make an appointment, just walk into your local Pharmacy and ask to see the Pharmacist for a 'Pharmacy First Consultation'.
